Hello and welcome to my site!
For those of you who don't know me allow me to introduce myself. My name is Belinda G. Buchanan and I am an author of edgy, women's fiction and mystery. I create stories that deal with very personal and social issues: Alcoholism, mental illness, adultery, and domestic abuse, as well as some other taboo subjects. My women are not weak, and yet, my men are not always strong; you will also find that my characters aren't perfect - they are far from it, actually, because even heroes have a chink or two in their armor. It's what makes them human, and I find that fascinating. I was born and raised in Kentucky and currently reside in a small town near Louisville with my husband, two sons (one who loves me unconditionally, and one who loves me only when were not in public) and a menagerie of animals that includes three persnickety cats. Besides being a full-time writer, mom, and professional hamster wrangler, I am also a firm believer that Krazy Glue fixes everything.
