The Monster of Silver Creek
Wow, what a story, you become the people in the story, you cry with them , you laugh with them and you get shocked with them at the end. Great read, just super.

Buchanan is a master at creating unforgettable characters and her descriptions are so vivid, I felt I was in Silver Creek. The murderer was revealed in a surprising manner and while I can often figure out who did it, I was blindsided here – the writing was that good.

This book was intriguing from the cover to the very end. The writing flowed so smoothly and maintained such intrigue from one page to the next that I didn't want to put it down. So many murder mysteries have so many sub-plots, characters and unrelated action that it becomes confusing, and therefore boring, to try to keep up. However, the characters in this book and their relationships to each other are well defined, and their casual everyday actions are brief enough to make the reader feel present and part of their everyday lives without losing the train of thought about the main plot. If you want an absorbing diversion, I highly recommend this book.

Loved your first two books (read them on my Kindle and couldn't put them down!) I'm ordering the audiobook version of " The Monster..." today from Audible. Love the videos on this website, too! Your books would make great full-length movies. Keep up the good work...can't wait to read more!

Just started the book this morning and already one fourth of the way done. Can't put it down. Easy to read, and u can almost feel the cheif's frustration. Almost feel eyes watching as u read. A great read so far.
Just finished reading the book. Fast paced. Kept me guessing who the monster was right up til the end, but was not prepared for the ending. Good but sad!! Would recommend this book to anyone to read.

When I read The Monster of Silver Creek, I just could not put it down! So many feelings raced through me; sadness, laughter, anxiousness. Ms. Buchanan keeps you on your toes until the last sentence. The book has so many twists thrown in, every time I think one thing is going to happen, it completely opposite. I have been reading for a long time; a lot of the time I can predict the ending of a book (which I hate) but, with this book, I didn't figure out the killer until the very end.
Belinda G. Buchanan includes other characters into her books, not just the two main characters and tells a detailed story so that the plot unravels with little confusion. I guarantee at the end of the book, you'll know the characters as well as you best friend. Anyone who loves a good mystery with plenty of action, emotion, and romance, will definitely love this book. This book would appeal to multi-genre lovers. There's plenty of gore and death to keep a manly man interested, enough romance to keep a womance fanatic (like me), and enough danger to keep adventurers preoccupied.
